Powers/Skills: Tabitha Smith has the mutant ability to generate balls of energy, which she calls her "time bombs," that explode with concussive force. The amount of concussive impact depends on the size of the bomb she creates, and she can, at least to some extent, control the amount of time until it detonates. It is believed that when she has more control with her powers that she would be able to reabsorb the energy of non-detonated bombs.

History: Tabitha Smith had not gotten along with her parents for most of her life. Tabitha's mutant powers emerged when she was thirteen, and when her parents discovered them, they were appalled, her father even went as far to beat her for it several times after they discovered she was a mutant. Resentful towards her father, Tabitha put a small explosive ball of energy in his lasagna and her father beat her again in retailation. To escape from the abuse Tabitha ran away from home. Alone and on the streets she spent most of the time wandering, until she met a man known only as Craven. He took her in and used her, as well as some other young mutants in his group called the Fallen Angels. They performed various terrorist acts against the human population. When the X-Men learned of the Fallen Angels' plot to destroy San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, they thwarted the attempt and followed them to a Pierhouse. After the battle that ensued, the X-Men were able to free the Fallen Angels from Craven's mind control, and rather than leave them from the police, the X-Men took them back to Westchester. After arriving at Westchester, most of the Fallen Angels were returned to their families, however Tabitha did not want to return to her abusive father and doormat step-mother so she decided to stay at the mansion with the X-Men, to learn how to use her powers better.
